I was so warm yesterday I was able to pull out this lighter jacket I bought at the Boxing Day Sales! I sat outside for a couple of hours with my friends and enjoyed feeling the warmth on my face.

I'll be busy this weekend with my little sister and a friend visiting me, and then hunkering down to work over Reading Week (ha. We'll see...).

There is nothing I don't like/want to emulate about this look. Biker Jacket + slouchy shirt and cardigan + jersey maxi skirt + fingerless gloves. Beauty.

Alternative use for nail polish

At the Vena Cava show last week, the models had bands of nail polish on their fingers.

This would crack and flake off by the end of the day, but it looks sooo cool. A neat way to add a pop of colour a la spring '11.

Valentines

PS: These Kate Spade online Valentines are so cute - they take the tackiness out of e-cards, and remind me of grade school Valentines! If only I would get a heart necklace and ring set like Max gave me in grade 1...

Jean Shirt!

My mom sent me a fantastic care package last week, and she remembered my hunt for a denim shirt. She found this one while cleaning out a closet - it's so comfy! Even though it needs some mending, I had to wear it the next day. My mom also gave me the gold and green ring so I guess this outfit is dedicated to my mom.
